a weird yet familiar sense of nostalgia ran through me as i walked the 'streets' of Changi airport. past the gates and rows, we finally reached row 9. as we were approaching, the dustbin at the side caught my attention and i contemplated throwing away the leftovers of my mocha frappucino from starbucks. the heck with it, i threw away remains of the whipped cream, which initially was at the top of the grande cup, now sunk to the bottom. the boy in a brown long sleeve polo t-shirt, another familiar face, one which we saw every day in 2004, now only once a year. he used to be the shortest and smallest built in 2C, but now, after 2 years in Australia, he's grown vertically, yet stayed slim from the horizontal perspective. taller than most of us now, he's a grown man, with a driving licence, and a heart that's burning for God. we shook hands, patted him on the back as he, the lone ranger, walked into the gates all by himself, with us watching by the glass panels. Au revoir, my friend, Lawrence Goh.

went back to fairfield today. i missed it so so much. the food, the teachers, the company. well we played soccer, and i kinda knocked my nose into nicholas' head. it's broken i guess, and it was bleeding and all. whoa, i've never seen that much blood in my life. so yeah, ran to the toilet, washed it, iced it, felt ultra giddy. but still, made it to dover for dinner and back home for cell group with david, evan and lissa. it was quite good, just the four of us. we did the study on job, the guy who literally lost everything. meaningful study, learnt new stuff.

wise words from lissa: God did not sent the spirit of God into the people before Jesus' time. Jesus was the first man to have the Spirit of God living in him, that was what made him both human and God. after that, God sent the Spirit to live in each and every single one of us, thus we are made to become more like Christ. everytime we say we aren't perfect, we sin, its partially false. God became human, but with the Spirit living inside of Him, he could resist temptations and all that, so yeah, don't say we can't do it, especially those who use vulgarities. so there's no excuse now.

i'll leave you all thinking about that... so long.

i'm physically and spiritually drained. It's fading away...

joash lee at 12:39 AM

okay, it's been a long time since i touched the computer. have always been stuck on winning eleven on the xbox. i really, don't wish to blog about anything, but just to let you all know that i'm not dead. i'm still here, that is, if anybody still reads my blog. just for the record, i'm spiritually dry now, and i've never been a more bad boy than now. i've gotta change. something inside me snapped. i'm different. i don't want to stay this way. Man, i'm gonna stop. it's been hell without God. not sure of what to do with my life now.

all those times we had those spiritual talks, the ones when i seemed so holy, was all just a facade. i've been so obsessed with helping others to draw closer to this God, whom i'm drifting away from.

where is God in all this?
