Tuesday, November 27, 2007 Hi guys, i'm back from Chiang Mai, and these are the pictures. It's from bottom up, sorry about it. enjoy! Finally, our flight home! Finally, Bangkok Int'l Airport. Great place, Great ice cream. The Night Bazaar, where i bought all my cheap stuff. The elephant was an obstruction to my shopping. The road home. Brian acting cool. An amazing cave full of minerals. Yu and I. My private motorbike instructor. I rode on her bike, hahha. Ssssshhhh! Lar and I. Their lovely Bungalow. The road. How we act cute on the road. The church in a Wed prayer meeting. Mahatir and my Soccer Boots- Nike Tiempo. I ate the ones on the top. They are grasshoppers. I think. Maybe crickets. They've got a bunch of 'em there, beetles, grasshoppers, crickets, maggots. I forgot which one i ate.. Pic on top shows the people lighting the lanterns and letting them go. Pic just above shows the lanterns in the sky. Isn't it beautiful? Our lodging for the first day. Our tiny van. Just outside the airport. All these were the shots taken out of the airplane on the way there. Enjoy. joash lee at 7:57 PM
Thursday, November 15, 2007 The first thing he saw when he walked into school was a notice board, with 197 names on them. Pushing vigorously through the crowd, he saw Nerine and Katrina, who looked pleased for some reason or another. He was about to find out why. He went to talk to Katrina, and she told him that sadly, his name was on the list. What was the list? THE RETAINEES AND KICKOUTS. Katrina showed some pity, which he was grateful for, and Nerine was concerned how he would receive the news. He shrug it off, claiming he was kinda expecting it already. Deep inside, he knew his innermost being, that it was not as it appeared. He went with a few of his classmates to LT3, where all the retainees were. There, he received his results, and he saw three underlined Us, H1 Bio, H2 Econs, H2 Math. Surprisingly, he had an E for H2 Literature, and was quite pleased. Reading the comments given by Mr Keefe Loke, he was elated when he saw, "excels in most sports". After spending time with the class which was gonna split up, he came to a resolution, which was to study hard next year, and get straight As for Midyears and Promos. Can he do it? Can he not? joash lee at 10:38 PM
