Monday, March 3, 2008 Appetizers 1. Prawn Mango Salad Damn good i swear. It's one of the best salads i've had. Only found at Jack's Place. 2. Caesar's Salad Another one of my favourites. I think the one at Fish and Co. comes with raw salmon. Which happens to be super nice. 3. Minestrone/Clam Chowder Soup Only Mos Burger's soups can be worthy of my appetite. It's great, and the stuff inside the soup are just fabulous. Main Course 1. Prawn Noodles The one i've been going to since a kid, and never got tired of it, cos the soup's just so damn nice. And the chilli powder. WOO. Okay this one's next to queensway, Alexandra Village Food Market. The best i've had so far. 2. Beef noodles Food Republic at Wisma has the best beef noodles. They don't dry up like the others, and the servings of beef are so generous. Love it. 3. Laksa The only laksa i eat is near my church, Tanglin Halt New Market. It's also damn good, i can't stand it. The chicken in the laksa is tender, and the noodles just blend in with the curry. 4. Zha Yu Pian Mee Fen Also the best i've eaten at is Dover kopitiam. The fish is huge! And the amount of milk they add in the soup is just nice, so it isn't too milky, everything's great. Definite must try. 5. Yu Pian Mee Fen The nicest is found at Tanglin Halt Old Market. All the way inside where nobody can see. The poor uncle is waiting for customers. He gives ALOT of fish, and the soup's great too. Not bad. 6. Steak Jack's place. Definitely. 7. Meat balls IKEA. Desert 1. Milk Shake BILLY BOMBERS. Ultimate hands down. 2. Fruit Smoothies I go for either Orange Julius or MIX. OJ of course being the budget. MIX is seriously damn good, but a lil' overpriced. City Hall basement. 3. Ice Kachang/Cheng Ting/All that nonsense Definitely Tanglin Halt old market. The cheapest and the most generous. 70cents for one bowl, and the specials are at 1 dollar each bowl. The aunty is my friend. (: 4. Cookies SUBWAY. 5. Ice cream Swensens.Island Creamery(serene centre). The Daily Scoop(Sunset Way).IKEA basement 6. Coffee/Tea Coffee Bean. Hope all of you enjoy what i enjoy too. I have a love for food. You can't stop me. (: joash lee at 9:19 PM
