Tuesday, May 6, 2008 ![]() A greatly disappointing game today against AJC, we totally lost control. Everyone played badly, and if anyone's to blame, it is us. We ourselves blew it. But it's okay everyone. Sometimes in life, there are wins and losses. You can't possibly win all the time. Sometimes losses come our way to give us a wake up call. Just to refresh you what your goal is, what you are playing for. And this clearly is one fine example. We lost by a narrow margin in the first set, but the second one was way horrendous. 25-22, 25-18. Everyone felt very down, and some even cried. I too was very very upset, and it didn't help that Coach kept screaming at us. But anyhow, we deserved it. And this, shall be the last of these kind of things. From tomorrow onwards, we will get our act together, train hard, and beat VJC on Thursday. I know we can do it. We can do it, we MUST do it. No other option. For today, everyone just go home and think about today's match, and think about how badly you want to win VJC on Thursday. I'm quite emo now too. Can't be blamed. Just focus on our goal, remember our dream! Finals at the Toa Payoh Indoor Stadium. Keep pressing on guys! Anyway, all the best to the netball team, against SAJC tomorrow. I know you girls can do it. The crucial match, keep your cool and play well as a team. It is all in your hands. Don't give up. It's not over till it's over. So press on and give it your best. I've heard that the death toll in Myanmar is over 10, 000. God have mercy on them. joash lee at 7:46 PM
