Monday, May 12, 2008 ![]() Today's match was excitement to the max. And in the end, we lost. Sad, sad. Actually it wasn't all that bad, until the part where we kept losing points, and the part when Zuo Kun twisted his hand, when diving for the ball. Really, wasted. At that point, I really felt like crying already, because in the matter of a few minutes, everything just fell like that. Just fell apart. We totally lost control. Anyway, quite shocked to see the principal, Mrs Tan herself, come down, along with 5 other HODs. Quite shocking, cos they actually took time off to come and watch our match. Played 4 sets today, and we're the first team in the whole of Singapore to attain one set from NY. And they played really really well today, so we had nothing to say. Tiring, and exhausting, it was hard to focus when the body is tired. And especially when so many people are cheering for you, it's just hard to concentrate. Made a couple of stupid mistakes today, really regret. But now must look ahead, cannot live in the past. When we shook hands with our opponents, NYJC, I sincerely thanked them for the match and congratulated them. This is one of the few times I actually did it out of sincerity. They were the better team, and honestly, they have good sportsmanship, and are truly worthy of a place in the finals. I have nothing but respect for them. Same goes for TJC. Heard that they won AJC. They were trailing by 2 sets to 0, and after picking themselves up, they managed to fight back and win AJ 3-2. Amazing stuff TJ. Again, nothing but pure respect for them. These are the types of teams that are truly good. Picked up many injuries today. All minor, but add together, become damn painful. I think I twisted my left knee a lil', it hurts when I walk. And my right ankle is just one gone case. And today, when I went to dive for the ball, landed on my left hip again, DAMN. Just one big bruise now. Really damn big. And the right shoulder's been giving me problems for quite some time already. I think the muscle's tearing apart. Ultra painful. HEAL ME SOMEBODY. :/ Big thank you to the volleyball girls and the seniors again, who never fail to support us. (: joash lee at 9:22 PM
